I've 'faked' it using the files from Far Cry 4 in a Far Cry Primal directory I created, and passed on by the original error. It's read during the initial launch, so it's probably modified when changing from the default configuration. The directory was simply not created by the install. Install was done as Admin, and subsequent launches also as admin. Do you have any subfolders in the /My Games folder other than Far Cry Primal? Could it be that it's read-only? It really does sound like an access-denied sort of issue, so I'm not sure why running Uplay as Administrator wouldn't fix it. That's when it crashes in your case and why suggested running the game as an Administrator. I created the folder and files by copying from Far Cry 4, and had some success, but eventually, the Far Cry 4 files weren't up to it. I have rebooted, etc., tried off-line, verified the install, still no joy. Primal fails immediately following the 'save' icon notification with this error: File System Failure: Aborting execution.
